Texas Drug Card is the state's free prescription assistance program. While providing uninsured residents with savings up to 80% on medications, Texas Drug Card also provides comparable savings to those with insurance on their non-covered medications. This program is available to all Texans and there are no enrollment fees, qualifications, or waiting periods to access your savings. All cards are pre-activated and do not expire.
Those who are not able to access a hard card can visit any local CVS/pharmacy and ask to have their prescription processed through the program. Accepted at over 68,000 pharmacies nationwide, Texas Drug Card excels in working with organizations such as Texas Kids First, Epilepsy Foundation of Central and South Texas, and Texas Osteopathic Association to further help those in need. In continuing efforts to create awareness, Texas Drug Card has proven to be the pharmacy friendly program as well as the discount prescription program of choice by Texans statewide.
