Tennessee Drug Card is the statewide free prescription assistance program available to all Tennessee residents. The program was launched in May of 2007 as a way to help the uninsured and underinsured afford their prescription medications, and so far, the program has saved Tennesseans over $17 million!
Tennessee Drug Card is a free program that provides savings up to 80% off most brand name and generic medications, and there are no applications to fill out or qualifications to meet. All cards are pre-activated and ready to be used immediately.
Tennessee Drug Card works with Rural Health Association of Tennessee, Home Builders Association of Tennessee, Tennessee Municipal League and Blount Partnership, along with hospitals and clinics throughout the state to help distribute cards to residents in need.
Tennessee Drug Card is accepted at over 68,000 participating pharmacies nationwide, including Kmart, Harris Teeter, Ingles, Schnucks, Target, Walmart, BI-LO Pharmacy and Walgreens. This Program is not insurance
